SILENCER CONFIGURATOR (FIND BY SPECIFICATION)
Products can be added to Quotes by inputting the Model Name or SKU directly into line items. If you’re not sure what model name or number is required, use the “Find by Specifications” feature to browse models based on product attributes and aero-acoustic performance.

The “Find by Specifications” feature brings the V-A Design style silencer product configurator to V-A Express, to more quickly find suitable products when you’re not given a distinct model.
Steps to use the silencer product configurator:
- From the left margin, input product attributes and filter requirements. Here, you’ll select from product families (RD, RFL, RNM, etc.), input dimensional (Width, Height, Length, etc.) and aerodynamic requirements (Airflow, Velocity, Pressure Drop).

- From the Required Insertion Loss section, input the specified acoustic performance requirements. Insertion Loss values will filter all available products using input values as minimum requirements. The Safety Factor can be used to increase these requirements, if you’d like to consider a margin of safety in your selection.

- Models that meet product attribute and performance requirements are displayed in the Search Results. These are rank ordered in terms of (1) Length and (2) Pressure Drop, giving you a range of possible options to choose from.

- Selecting a product will reveal product Options (casing material, casing gauge, slip and drive, etc.) and Resources (product data sheets, installation instructions, etc.) in the right margin.

- To finalize the selection, click the “Add to Cart” button in the lower right-hand corner of the view.
