CREATING QUOTES

From any of the Dashboard views, you can move directly to building new quotes for projects using the “Create Quote” button in the upper right-hand corner of the view.

Clicking the “Create Quote” button will advance you to the Quote view, where you can define Quote attributes and begin adding products to the Quote.

With a Quote created:

Quote Name. Assign a name to the Quote by clicking the “New Quote” text, or the blue “Edit” icon.

Project. Associate the Quote to a Project (optional).

Reference #. Add an internal Reference #, if your company use internal project IDs or other data, for reference (optional).

Expiration Date. An expiration date is automatically assigned as 30-days from the Quote creation date.

Products can be added to the quote in several ways.

VIRS Quote View.

If you already know the product model that is required, you can:

Type the name directly in the “Enter model name or SKU” field.

Enter model name or SKU field.

As you begin typing, the application will offer suggestions to auto-complete the name of the model.

The quantity can be adjusted by typing in the field or using the stepper to incrementally increase or decrease the quantity.

Use the Add to Quote button to finalize the selection and add the product.

The unit price for the product, and total price for the line, will be displayed in the record.

If you’re not sure what model name or number is required, use the “Browse the catalog” button to look at products in a Tree View format.

Browse the Catalog button to select products from the product catalogue.

From the Product Catalogue, you can:

Drill down to specific products in a tree view format, beginning with “high level” categories (Bases, Floor Mounted Vibration Isolators, Vibration Isolation Hangers, etc.).

Narrow down from “high level” categories to specific product families (SH Spring Hangers, PSH Precompressed Spring Hangers, etc.).

From within product families, select specific products, adjust quantities, and Add to Quote.
